Entry requirements

There are no formal entry requirements for this course.

Selection criteria

We will be offering four units:

  • BSBAUD504 Report on a quality audit
  • BSBAUD503 Lead a quality audit
  • BSBAUD501 Initiate a quality audit
  • BSBAUD402 Participate in a quality audit

For the remaining four units:

  • One must be from the current BSB training package at the Diploma level
  • Three can be from any current training package at the Diploma level, but of these, one could be at the Certificate IV level.

These units should be provided by way of a credit transfer from previous qualifications.These elective units must be relevant to the work environment intended to audit in and contribute to a valid, industry-supported vocational outcome.

Apart from the above, this qualification has no formal entry criteria however TAFE Queensland has provided the following recommendations for successful outcomes:

  • Currently working (assessments are based on workplace projects) in a leadership role with leadership experience or moving in to a leadership role.

Supplementary recommendations:

  • recommended completed another relevant qualification, or experience in a range of work environments in senior support roles
  • literacy levels equivalent to a successful completion of Year 12 English
  • a range of study skills, self-motivation and reasonable independence to study.

Resources required

It is recommended that you have access to a reliable internet connection to access TAFE Queensland's online learning system Connect, and a computer with up-to-date software, including Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat Reader and Adobe Flash Player. This equipment and software is available for use at all TAFE Queensland locations.

You may be assessed in a number of ways while you are studying at TAFE Queensland, including observation, written assessment, questioning, portfolios, work samples, third-party feedback, and through recognition of prior learning.
